I am a videographer, editor, and motion graphics designer from Caldwell County in North Carolina, and currently working out of the Henderson / Buncombe County area. 2023 DEMO REEL
Created in the Spring of 2023, this showreel displays some highlights of my previous and current projects.
VIDEOGRAPHY & EDITING
Follow the story of the Atriax Group through their history, from humble beginnings to their newest state-of-the-art facility right in the heart of downtown Hickory. Created Summer and Fall 2023. Filmed with Canon R6 MK II, edited with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Audition.
Created for Synergy Labs throughout the fall of 2022 to be played at job fairs and to advertise their new location in North Carolina. I was part of the crew conducting film interviews, and created the main video and motion graphics edits.
Created in March 2023 for Valdese Weavers to show the do's and dont's of an active shooter situation. I was one of two camera operators and performed the main video edit.
A collaborative project creating a movie trailer spoof to announce a baby gender reveal with Kevin Human and Tyler McKenzie. I served as a camera and drone operator, video editor, and sound designer for the project. Created Fall 2022.
A contracted trailer edit for the 2023 Golden Hour Film Festival, held in Morganton, NC. For this project, I utilized Adobe Premiere to create an edit of the various festival entries. Created in July 2023.
A suspense short film created over the course of 16 weeks and going through all stages of pre-production (script writing, proposal, auditioning), filming, and post-production. Filmed with 4K cameras and edited through Adobe Premiere Pro, Audition, and After Effects. Created Fall 2021
FILM & VIDEO PRODUCTION
My experience with film and video production includes work with both studio and natural settings, work with actors, and work with low and high key light. I have skills with editing videos in a variety of software, including Adobe Premiere and After Effects as well as Final Cut Pro X for the Mac.

MOTION GRAPHICS
Created over the course of 16 weeks, this is a fan-made music video for "The Well" by Marcus King, utilizing motion graphics and keyed green screen footage edited primiarily through After Effects. Created Spring 2022.
The second in a series of motion infographics created for the League of Women Voters of Catawba Valley, this piece illustrates the importance of participating in Municipal Elections. Created with After Effects.
A video utilizing motion graphics, images, and video to advertise the 2023 Pioneer Preview event at WPCC. Created in April 2023 using Audition, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
Created for the League of Women Voters of Catawba Valley, this motion infographic was created through After Effects to provide information about the Vote 411 website.
The third in a series of motion infographics created for the League of Women Voters of Catawba Valley, this installment provides information about the local county government and the various responsibilities of the people within it. Created with After Effects.
An exercise in creating engaging, animated kinetic typography to enhance a chosen piece of appropriated audio. Created using After Effects and Illustrator. Created September 2021
ANIMATION & MOTION GRAPHICS
My experience with Motion Graphics includes the use of animated text and objects. I have developed a proficiency in finding ways to display information in fun and engaging ways. I have worked to create these through After Effects, with experience in creating assets in Photoshop and Illustrator.

LOOPING MEDIA
I have experience in the creation of seamless looping "gifs" through After Effects and Photoshop, using appropriated content as well as footage filmed.

An exercise in using simple colors and shapes to demonstrate a "rough sketch" of a hypothetical home office.

For this piece, I recreated a medieval dungeon space in Blender based off of a provided photo reference.

BIO
ABOUT ME
A resident of Caldwell County in North Carolina, I have been working to develop my skills as a Motion Designer through the Digital Effects and Animation Technology program at Western Piedmont Community College. I have developed skills in video production and motion graphics in 2D, 3D, and captured footage. I have experience in all stages of production, from project development and proposal to creation, output rendering, and critique. I have worked in the Adobe creative Suite and 3D editing software. In June of 2023, I began my full-time position as a Commercial Content Producer for WLOS under the employment of Cunningham Broadcasting Corporation.
